	Welcome to the Phoenix Big Band The Phoenix Big Band is a traditional Big Band, based in Arundel and playing gigs year round in the South East of England. We are available for bookings for weddings, birthday parties, charity and fund raising balls etc. If you are interested in booking the band please Contact Us News:- At our recent AGM, Nigel Searle, our Chairman, announced that he would be standing down. Nigel, who has been with the band from the beginning, has had a great influence on its development, and will of course continue to play in the Brass Section. Recently married to his charming wife, Cissy, (picture), after ten years in the post he felt it was time for him to hand over to someone else. He describes the Band as a 'Big Family who look after each other', which is in no small way due to his influence and enthusiasm. Thank you Nigel! ...Clive Ongley, our Double Bass player was elected as the new Chairman... * GET READY FOR OUR NEXT GIG:- * East Preston Festival on 17th June and then at the DIAMOND CASINO NIGHT at THE DOME, Worthing July 31st The 65th Aniversary of D-Day, at Slindon College on June 13th was again a great gig, with excellent weather in a beautiful setting.
